Terms & Conditions

Introduction
At Skin Aesthetics by Dina, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal information is handled securely and responsibly. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you visit our website.

How We Use Your Personal Information (Data Protection)

  1. How We Handle Your Data
We handle your personal data in accordance with GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and your rights under GDPR.
  1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following information:
  • Personal details including your full name, address, contact information, date of birth, email, and payment details when you book an appointment or purchase products.
  • A medical questionnaire must be completed at your first appointment to assist with consultation and treatment planning.
  • You will be asked to review and update your medical information at each visit and confirm that your details are accurate with your signature.
  • A consent form must be signed before any treatment. You have the right to change your mind at any time, even after signing.
  • We will keep records and case documentation for each patient.
  • You may request a copy of your records by paying a reasonable fee set by us.
  • Failing to disclose any medical conditions, treatments, past or present, releases Skin Aesthetics by Dina from all liability for any loss, injury, or harm—related or unrelated to COVID-19—that may occur while in, on, or around our premises or using our facilities.
  • Communication data when you contact us via email, phone, or social media.
  • Usage data such as your IP address, browser type, and browsing behavior on our website through cookies.
  1. How We Use Your Data
    We use your information to:
  • Schedule and manage appointments
  • Process payments for treatments and products
  • Provide personalized advice and treatment information
  • Send marketing communications (if you have opted in)
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
  1. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share information with:
  • Service providers assisting with payment processing, IT support, or marketing
  • Regulatory bodies when required by law
  • Third parties for legitimate business purposes, such as legal compliance or safety concerns
  1. Your Rights
Under the GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct or update inaccurate information
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities
  • Withdraw consent at any time for marketing communications

6 Health and Safety

  • Please inform us of any allergies, skin conditions, or medical history prior to your treatment. Failure to disclose relevant information, or not following pre- and post-treatment instructions, may result in adverse reactions for which the clinic and practitioner cannot be held responsible.
  • Patients with contagious skin conditions or infections may be asked to delay or reschedule their appointment until the condition has been treated and is deemed safe for treatment.
  • 7.Risk of Clinical Complications
  • Your health and safety are our top priorities. While we strive to achieve the best possible outcomes, no clinical procedure is entirely risk-free, and results cannot be guaranteed.
  • Some procedures have well-documented potential complications, which will be explained during your consultation and documented in the patient information leaflet and consent form.
  • Many complications can be managed with simple and conservative treatments, and we will do our best to address these. However, if a complication requires more extensive treatment outside our expertise, arrangements will be made for you to receive care through the NHS or privately at your own cost. Please note that private medical insurance may not cover complications from aesthetic treatments.

8 Mental Health and Aesthetics

  • Patients should have realistic expectations, focusing on improvement rather than perfection. Unavoidable complications or unsatisfactory results may occur, potentially requiring additional treatments and causing stress.
  • It’s important to openly discuss any history of mental health issues, such as depression or anxiety, with your practitioner before treatment.
  • While many find aesthetic treatments beneficial psychologically, their impact on mental health cannot be guaranteed or accurately predicted.

9 Social Media Consent

  • By signing consent, you allow Skin Aesthetics by Dina and its team the perpetual right to use your name, likeness, image, voice, appearance, and performance across all media formats—video, photos, audio, and digital platforms—for promotional and social media purposes.

10 Feedback

  • We value all feedback, whether positive or constructive, as it helps us improve our services. You can share your feedback with us verbally, in writing, via email, or through our website. We appreciate your input and thank you for helping us serve you better.

To exercise any of these rights or if you have concerns about our data practices, please contact us at:

12. Data Retention
We will retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined or as required by law.

13 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies to enhance your browsing experience. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.

We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Terms and Conditions / Terms of Service

Welcome to the website of Skin Aesthetics by Dina. By accessing and using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of Our Website

  • You agree to use our website lawfully and responsibly.
  • You must not attempt to interfere with the operation of the website or access areas we have restricted.
  • Content on this site is for general informational purposes only and not intended as medical advice.

2. Appointments, Deposits, and Cancellations

  • Cancelling and Rescheduling
    • If you cancel on the day of your appointment, do not arrive, or fail to provide 48 hours’ notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the treatment scheduled and any amounts pre paid will be kept.
    • The same policy applies to any booked courses; your sessions will be forfeited if 48hours notice is not given.
    • If you wish to reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, your booking fee will be forfeited, and you will need to pay the full cost of the treatment to secure a new appointment.
    • We may cancel an appointment if practitioners or materials are unavailable or due to circumstances outside our control, with full refunds but not for other expenses.
  • Equipment Safety
    • Your safety is our top priority. If at any point we identify concerns or discover that any of our equipment or machines are not in proper working condition, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
  • Late Arrivals (over 10 minutes) may result in cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment
    • To ensure the smooth operation of the clinic and to provide all clients with the best experience, we kindly ask you to arrive on time so you can enjoy your full treatment session.
    • If you anticipate being late or are running behind, please inform the clinic by calling us. We will do our best to accommodate you, but please note that the duration of your treatment may be shortened, and the appointment will still need to end at the scheduled time.
    • Please be aware that late arrivals are still required to pay the full cost of the booked service.

3. Fees and Payment

  • Booking Fee
    • Please be advised that all appointments require a 50% non-refundable booking fee. Bookings will not be confirmed until the payment has been received. To secure your preferred date and time, payment must be made at the time of inquiry or booking, as we do not hold appointments without payment.
  • You can pay using the following methods:
    • Credit or debit card, including Amex, Cash, Gift voucher, or Bank transfer.
  •  We reserve the right to modify our prices without prior notice.
  •  We do not store credit card information and will never ask you to reveal your card details. Any payments made are processed securely and without storing your card information.

4. Refunds

  •  While we will do our best to achieve positive results, individual responses to treatment vary. As with all medical procedures, outcomes can differ, and no guarantees either clinical or financial can be made regarding results.
  • Treatment fees are non-refundable, even in cases of sub-optimal results, no results, or complications such as allergic reactions. The fees cover professional time, expertise, product costs, and other expenses incurred in providing the service, which are the same regardless of the outcome. Additional costs may arise if complications occur and further treatment is necessary.

  1. Product Refunds and Returns Policy

General Conditions:

  • Products purchased in-clinic, over the phone, or online are non-refundable unless faulty.
  • Returns must be made within 14 days of receiving your order; after this period, no refund will be issued.
  • Used, opened, or damaged items cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Delivery charges are non-refundable. If free delivery was provided, the original postage and packaging costs paid by Skin Aesthetics by Dina will be deducted from the refund.
  • Return costs are paid by the customer. We recommend using tracked delivery and keeping proof of postage.
  • If your order included a free gift, it must be returned along with the product before a refund or replacement can be processed.

Return Procedure:

  • Notify the clinic and complete the online returns form, including the reason for return and your contact number.
  • Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
  • If you suspect a faulty pump, contact us before returning, as it may simply be air in the bottle.

Additional Return Cases:

  • Damages, shortages, or wrong items: Report within 24 hours of receipt with photos.
  • Faulty products: Report immediately with details; the product must be returned for testing before a refund is issued.
  • Reactions: Test products first; if a reaction occurs, report within 48 hours with photos and complete a Reaction Form.
  • Undelivered, cancelled, or refused packages: Return costs or re-delivery charges may apply. Cancelling an order will forfeit the delivery cost. A £10 processing fee will be applied in the event of cancellations.

Refunds:

  • Refunds will be processed promptly and issued in GBP to your original billing address.

6. Gift Vouchers

  •  Gift vouchers are available both in-store and online.
  •  Vouchers are valid for the period specified on the voucher.
  •  Vouchers can only be redeemed for treatments offered at our clinic and cannot be exchanged for cash
  •  Vouchers can only be used by the recipient or the purchaser of the voucher.

7. Treatment Course Discounts

  •  Payment in full is required upfront for all treatments purchased as a course, either in advance or at your first treatment, unless you have opted for a payment plan.
  •  Treatments (excluding laser hair removal) must be completed within six months of purchase; any treatments not used within this period will be forfeited.
  •  All course payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  •  If you are unable to complete the course due to a severe or terminal medical condition, which you will be required to provide proof of, we will refund the remaining balance. The refund will be calculated by deducting the full list price of all treatments already undergone (including those forfeited for non-attendance) from the total course price, with the difference returned to you.
  •  No refunds or transfers are available for temporary side effects such as redness, bruising, swelling, mild burning, blistering, or hypo/hyperpigmentation, nor for rare side effects like scarring or permanent discoloration.
  •  Please note the price of a single treatment is twice the cost of a course of treatments.

8. Patch Tests

Some treatments require a patch test to ensure your safety and comfort. When booking these treatments, please allow enough time in your appointment to accommodate the patch test. This step is essential for your well-being.

9. Children Policy

  •  For the health and safety of all our clients, children are not permitted in the clinic during appointments. We do not have additional staff available to supervise or look after children, so we kindly ask that you arrange for them to be cared for during your visit. Thank you for your understanding.

10. Eligibility for Treatment

  •  We will not provide treatment if, after your consultation, we believe it is not suitable for you or unlikely to be successful, as individual responses and outcomes vary.
  •  Certain treatments are not available to individuals under 18, and we may require proof of age.
  •  Certain treatments may be unsuitable for those who are pregnant, suspect they are pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Additionally, some treatments may be unsuitable if you have a medical condition or are taking medication; further information may be required.
  •  We will not carry out any treatment or procedure that conflict with current laws, voluntary or mandatory codes of practice, or relevant regulations and guidelines.

11. Limitation of Liability

  •  Skin Aesthetics by Dina is not liable for any loss of profit, or indirect or consequential damages arising from our services or products.
  •  It is your responsibility to provide all relevant medical information before each treatment. We are not liable for any damage resulting from non-disclosure.
  •  You agree to follow all aftercare instructions provided. We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or breach of these Terms.
  •  We aim to ensure the information on our website is accurate, but we do not guarantee its completeness or accuracy.
  • Skin Aesthetics by Dina is not liable for any damages or loss resulting from the use of this website or reliance on its content.
